Dental Wellness of Portland is the new office of Dr. Gene Kim. Dr. Kim has been a practicing dentist in the Maine & New England area for the past 20+ years. With a focus on educating patients on how to maintain and thrive in their dental wellness, Dr. Kim and his staff look forward to serving new patients in the heart of Portland and beyond with the best dental care possible.
Below you will find a link to our HIPAA secure portal where appointments for a new patient exam can be made. A secure link will be sent to you via text or email in order to complete the necessary new patient forms once an appointment is made.
Please note, a new patient exam consists of:
1.) Dental radiographs (if no recent dental radiographs are provided from your previous office)
2.) A comprehensive dental examination.
A separate dental cleaning appointment will then be scheduled with the dental hygienist when the new patient visit concludes. Please understand that we follow this protocol due to the fact that as a new patient, the dentist needs to assess your periodontal condition prior to determining your type of cleaning; ie., a basic prophy, a gingivitis cleaning, periodontal scaling and root planning, a debridement, etc. ALSO, PLEASE BE AWARE, OUR NEXT DENTAL CLEANING APPOINTMENTS ARE BEING BOOKED OUT TOWARDS THE END OF 2024.
If a new patient appointment time can not be found online that is suitable to your schedule, please give the office a call, and we will find an appointment for you.
